Green Fish

Green Fish Resource Centre

Client: The Ethical Property Company
Location: Manchester

Green Fish is one of The Ethical Property Company’s nine UK resource centres for organisations working towards social change. The project is housed over 1,000sqm in the upper two storeys of a former department store in central Manchester. LEDA led the team converting the retail space into serviced office accommodation, together with a media suite, café area and mid-sized meeting/training room. Within the 30 metre-deep plan, we adapted existing rooflights and incorporated an internal passive ventilation stack for natural daylighting and ventilation, specified materials with low VOC off gassing to ensure high air quality and accommodated a high-efficiency condensing gas boiler for low-cost heating.
